Cher Gay Do 's Story
Background and Current Status
Chugedo has had chronic constipation since birth and has never had the chance to have it properly checked. He passes stool only every 4–5 days, in small hard chunks, and is often in pain. He sometimes soils himself without noticing, which has led to teasing from other children about the smell.
In August 2026, his parents brought him to a free medical clinic in Suanpueng, Ratchaburi, organized as part of a Be Well Give Back Clinic, hoping for help. On physical examination, the volunteer medical team noted a large intra-abdominal mass, suspected to be impacted faeces. He was referred to Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin to see a surgeon.
Has seen a surgeon at Bangkok Hospital, CT whole abdomen was done- revealed Severe impacted feces in the entire colon-rectal. With this chronic history Hirsprung disease is still considered given his age.
Chugedo currently has:
Chronic constipation since birth, never previously investigated
Infrequent, painful defecation (every 4–5 days) with occasional soiling
A large palpable intra-abdominal mass, suspected impacted faeces
CT findings consistent with severe faecal impaction; Hirschsprung disease suspected
Pending biopsy and further specialist testing to confirm diagnosis
Diagnosis & Condition
Chronic constipation since birth with severe faecal impaction, confirmed on CT whole abdomen at Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin. Hirschsprung disease is suspected as the underlying cause. Without proper diagnosis and treatment, Chugedo faces ongoing pain, social stigma from soiling, and risk of worsening bowel complications.

Why does he need help?
Chugedo has lived with pain, soiling, and the teasing of his peers for something he has never had the chance to have properly diagnosed. A lifelong condition, hiding a possible surgical cause, has gone unchecked simply because his family lacked access to specialist care. Supporting his diagnostic work-up and treatment is a direct, measurable act of compassion — giving him the chance at a normal, pain-free childhood.
Your support ensures that Be Well Child Care Foundation can deliver timely investigation and treatment, and demonstrate the power of collective care for children who would otherwise be left behind.

Soso Jibang – Left Eye Trauma
Soso is a 9‑year‑old boy living along the Thailand–Myanmar border who suffered a traumatic left eye injury in 2021 when struck by a rock; surgery was advised but never carried out due to cost, lack of legal status, and family hardship, leaving him blind in that eye for two years. In August 2026, he was examined at a Be Well Child Care Foundation free clinic, where doctors found he still has light perception — a hopeful sign that vision may be restored. Subsequent evaluation confirmed partial corneal damage and a ruptured lens, and he is now scheduled for a retina specialist assessment on 25 September 2026 at Wat Reiking Eye Specialty Hospital. His treatment may involve a corneal transplant, lens replacement, and retina repair, with costs estimated at 150,000 THB. With support, Soso has a real chance to regain sight, confidence, and opportunity, making this case a powerful example of how timely compassion can transform a child’s future.

Baby Fern – Tetralogy of Fallot
Age: 4 years old
A 4-year-old Fern’s story is one of resilience in the face of overwhelming odds. Born in the Karen ethnic territory of Myanmar in January 2022, she entered a world marked by conflict and scarce healthcare. From infancy, her parents noticed her lips and nails turning purple, her energy fading quickly, and her inability to keep up with other children—early signs of a serious heart condition. With no resources, no knowledge and no legal status in Thailand, her family could not access proper care, and her fainting episodes became part of her fragile childhood. At age four, Fern was finally diagnosed at the Children’s Hospital in Bangkok with Tetralogy of Fallot, a life-threatening congenital heart defect. Stateless and uninsured, she now lives at Bilay House Orphanage in Ratchaburi, awaiting urgent surgery that could transform her future. Her journey reflects the vulnerability of children born into poverty and displacement, and the hope that collective compassion and support can give her a chance at a healthy, normal childhood.
