Cinco's Story
Baby Cinco, born on November 11, 2020, is a Karen boy from PaTaw village, Myanmar, near the Thai-Myanmar border. Born in a non-hospital setting, he was diagnosed with Hirschsprung disease — a congenital disorder affecting normal bowel function.
Diagnosis & Condition
Hirschsprung disease — congenital absence of ganglion cells in the bowel, causing functional obstruction. Confirmed by rectal biopsy in December 2021.

Medical Journey
January 2021: At two months old, Cinco showed jaundice and abdominal distension. Emergency colostomy surgery was performed at a local Myanmar hospital.
December 2021: Rectal biopsy confirmed Hirschsprung disease. Family could not afford further treatment; Cinco returned to village without additional care.
June 2023: Social media and local health workers facilitated transfer to Thailand. Admitted to Paholpolpayuhasena Hospital in Kanchanaburi; pediatric surgeon established treatment plan.
February 2024: Moved to Bilay House Orphanage in Ratchaburi, closer to father and siblings. Received nutritional support preparing for surgery.
July 19, 2024: Major breakthrough — underwent successful abdominal-assisted transanal endorectal pull-through surgery at Samitivej Hospital.
December 13, 2024: Final hospital visit confirmed complete recovery. Dr. Kulsiri Tiansri officially discharged him; normal bowel movements restored with no complications.
February 22, 2025: Brief admission for colitis due to dietary issues; recovered well. Mother decided to leave him permanently in Pastor Bilay's care.
March 30, 2025: Small asymptomatic inguinal hernia diagnosed on left side; no immediate surgery required.
May 2025: Medical journey concluded. Cinco permanently resides at Bilay House Orphanage with 60 other children.
The Difference You Made
After years of medical challenges, Cinco is now a healthy, happy child. His medical case is officially closed, but ongoing support is needed for educational sponsorship, school supplies, daily care, accommodation, and an emergency medical fund.

Baby Duo, a 7-year-old Karen boy born in April 2017 from Myanmar, is courageously battling Nephrotic Syndrome — a kidney disease characterized by the leakage of large amounts of protein into the urine. His symptoms included puffy face, swollen legs, fatigue, and difficulty urinating.
