Baby Ceis, a brave 3-year-old Karen boy born on February 16, 2020, from Karen State, Myanmar, faced the challenges of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML M2) with extraordinary courage.

Medical Journey
September 20, 2023: Baby Ceis was brought to Bewell Clinic by KDHW from Karen State, Myanmar, and referred to Hua Hin Hospital for evaluation.
September 21, 2023: Examined by specialist at Children's Hospital where preliminary tests indicated leukemia. He was admitted for pain control and routine care.
September 25, 2023: Formally diagnosed with AML M2 and severe ocular complications. Chemotherapy commenced, though prognosis remained poor.
September 26, 2023: Chemotherapy was completed. Fungal eye infection identified and treated. Discussions began regarding transition to palliative care.
October 2, 2023: Discharged from hospital. His mother chose not to continue chemotherapy, prioritizing palliative care at home.
November 2023: Baby Ceis passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and community support.

Baby Duo, a 7-year-old Karen boy born in April 2017 from Myanmar, is courageously battling Nephrotic Syndrome — a kidney disease characterized by the leakage of large amounts of protein into the urine. His symptoms included puffy face, swollen legs, fatigue, and difficulty urinating.
